RAE leg #4
To think that I didn’t even plan on making our RAE qualifiers this much of a focus at the end of the year! Somehow I just can’t resist this rally addiction.
Today was a very small trial, but I’m glad I went. Very nice people (including the judge), a beautiful location at a campground that’s normally members only, warm weather, what more do you want?
This show was a specialty with obedience and rally open to all breeds, but there were only 2 dogs entered in Ecxellent B and Advanced B, so not much competition there. We came in first in Excellent with a score of 91 and 2nd in Advanced, scoring 88.
Quigley was a bit of a butthead today, too much sniffing and excitement in the ring, especially in his second run. But since the trial was so small, there wasn’t much time to warm up and I was first into the ring in both classes. (Which I don’t like at all! I prefer having a bit of time to warm up and watch other teams on the course.)
