Yeah, the one who jumps 5 feet high to lick my face, and takes flying leaps off the deck in the yard.

He NQ’d in Rally Advanced today because for some reason he thought that a broad jump is for simply walking over. I know there is no re-do on a jump, but since we were NQ’d already, I made him go over it again and he did the same thing. GAH! We don’t see broad jumps very often in rally at all, but that’s no excuse for doing them improperly.

It was a crazy day with super high winds, and all the dogs I watched were “off”. First place in excellent was a score of 90 and many dogs didn’t qualify.

I think we need to practice broad jumps more. He did fine with the bar/high jumps in Excellent. Unfortunately we had to honor for a super slow moving bulldog and eventually Quigley just couldn’t stand it anymore and went from his sit into a down, to the tune of 10 points off.
