We did ok in the first trial, even though the heeling could have been a lot better, but I can’t complain.As the only team in the Novice C class we even received a shiny blue ribbon for our score of 181.5.

In the second one I made a handler error, leaving Quigley in a sit for the honor exercise (the judge said “Down your Dog” but I heard “leave your Dog” ), and during the group sit Quigley went down about 3 seconds before the judge sent us back to our dogs.

All things considered, things went a lot smoother than last year. Can’t wait for the next trial – maybe we’ll have UKC rally by then, too!
