To my dismay I have not found any notes on this trial in my old records, other than the scores of 78 in Excellent and 87 in Advanced, but I’m convinced there was an IP in that Excellent run.

What I do remember is being tired and just wanting to go home, only to find my car battery dead because I had left the headlights on…

Looking through my trial photo album today, I remembered why there is no photo of our first RAE leg. Quigley had failed the Honor exercise and at the time I thought that was an NQ, so I didn’t even go back to the ring to collect our qualifying ribbon. I didn’t find out that we had actually qualified until I checked the results on the AKC website.
