It seems like I’ve waited for ages to see this in print:

Quigley is ranked #8 Parson Russell Terrier in the Front & Finish Ratings for Rally Combined (Advanced + Excellent classes).

Until someone told me about the magazine’s ratings earlier this year I had no idea it existed (the rating, not the magazine!), and I was surprised that he even got listed. Points are assigned only to the dogs who place 1st through 4th at each trial in AKC Rally Advanced and Excellent, and based on the number of dogs defeated.

Since I’ve been avoiding large shows as much as possible, I just looked through my notes and found that 10 of the 23 points we got actually came from one single Advanced B run, where Quigley placed first and defeated 10 other dogs.
