Registration for competition:
- AKC
- Purebred dogs of all AKC-recognized breeds
- Purebred Alternative Listing Program
(PAL, formerly ILP, a program that allows unregistered dogs of registrable breeds to compete in AKC Performance and Companion Events, Dogs must be spayed or neutered to be eligible.) - Canine Partners Program
(This program is open to mixed-breed dogs, purebred dogs not eligible for AKC registration or AKC Foundation Stock Service (FSS), and dogs not currently enrolled in AKC Purebred Alternative Listing. Dogs must be spayed or neutered to be eligible.)
- UKC
- Purebred dogs of all UKC-recognized breeds
- Permanent registration
- Single registration
(e.g. eligible, recognized breed originally from another registry) - Limited Privilege Registration (LP)
(Accepts mixed breed dogs, purebred dogs of unknown or incomplete pedigrees, purebred dogs registered with registries the UKC does not acknowledge, and purebred dogs with disqualifying faults. Dogs must be spayed or neutered to be eligible.)
- Purebred dogs of all UKC-recognized breeds
- World Cynosport (formerly APDT)
Accepts all dogs.
